 Well, haven’t we all followed a diet or an eating plan until the holiday season comes and everything you’ve worked so hard for falls apart. Holidays do that to you. We have all waited for this year to end and Christmas is the perfect way to bid adieu. It is colourful, happy, positive, and also full of treats. So how can you balance between all those Christmas sweets and your high protein snacks?

Cookies are a holiday must-have, right? You can binge on walnut and oatmeal cookies guilt-free. Go ahead and add dark chocolate to it as well. You can replace sugar with honey in these cookies and even add any berries that you like.

Hosting a party, and contemplating on adding a healthy snack? Do it! Christmas is all about the colour red, and you what else is red? A strawberry! A fancy looking, yet easy to make snack is  serving santa hats made with banana slices and strawberries. These fruits are often used in a nutrition bar as well because they are healthy and contain less calories.

 

3. Frozen christmas pops

We attain a different kind of pleasure gorging on cold treats when the weather gets colder. You can try making colourful frozen treats using watermelons, strawberries, blueberries, and all Christmas coloured fruits. They can be served as a perfect healthy dessert on your Christmas get together.

 

4. Fruit and cheese tray

You can never go wrong with classics. While we’re so used to looking at regular fruit and cheese set-ups, you can try something different this time. Set up your fruits and cheese in the shape of a christmas tree on a huge tray. There you go! Your regular protein snacks are now  presented in a way that everyone will love.
