Healthy Winter Snacks
The dropping temperatures and the chilly new years eve are an indication of winters in India. Whether it’s as chilly as it is in the northern Himalayas or it’s Mumbai winters, the need to keep your body warm remains constant. During winters, our metabolism rate goes down and our body tries to conserve heat. During such times, it becomes imperative to eat all the right things. You cannot let go of your diet or give up your healthy dietary habits. So here’s a list of healthy weight loss snacks that you can consume during winters -
1. Chikki
Chikki is usually made of jaggery and ground peanuts. Peanuts are a
source of good carbs and good fats that our body needs, especially during
winters. Jaggery is a healthy alternative to sugar too. It satisfies your sweet
cravings.
2. An orange, or a carrot
Winters is the time when these seasonal fruits and vegetables are
flooded in the market. You should rely on fruit as a snack when no other
healthier alternatives are available. You may have noticed that there has been a

3. Dry fruits
Dry fruits are loaded with protein and micronutrients that your body
needs. They also have good fats that help your body stay warm during winters.

grandmother or your aunt. You’ll come to know that it is a substance produced
